Advice for certification of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

The AEO - Authorized Economic Operator basically consists of providing in advance a series of information that will not need to be analyzed again in the clearance of cargo, which raises certified companies to a level of superior reliability before the Customs Bureau compared to other players in international trade .

 

This certification results in greater agility in the import and export procedures, consequently reducing the costs inherent to the process and increasing its competitiveness.

 

It is an international certification with more than 60 member countries in the world. A company certified in Brazil is also certified in the rest of the world.

Who can be certified as an AEO?

The following stakeholders are eligible for certification:

  • Importer and Exporter;

  • Depositary of Goods under Customs Control;

  • Port and Airport Operator;

  • Conveyor;

  • Cargo Agent;

  • Customs Broker (Individual);

Why be an AEO?
  • Immediate parameterization of DE and DI

  • Conference priority of the selected DE and DI

  • Reduced demurrage and storage expenses

  • Red channel incidence reduction

  • Agility in the release of loads

  • Exemption of guarantee in customs transit

  • Early registration of DI in the maritime modal

  • Green channel on temporary admission

  • Raise the confidence level of importers and exporters
